When approaching Colwyn Bay from the direction of Chester along the A55 expressway, take exit signed MOCHDRE (secondary sign, black letters on white background Exit 20).

Proceed through two sets of traffic lights (they are within very close proximity of one another), follow signs to MOCHDRE, you will see a Lidl store on your right.

Proceed approximately 100 yards to mini roundabout, take left exit signed MOCHDRE.

Proceed one mile until you come into the centre of MOCHDRE. Immediately after the row of shops in the village centre turn right, you will then see play area and small school on your left. Proceed over expressway and turn right at T junction.

Proceed 500 yards passed an old church and cemetery on the right. You are now in the rural area. Proceed another 500 yards until you come to a Y junction.

Take the left fork at this junction and proceed to the top of the hill for one mile until you come to the view and picnic area on your right.

Proceed another 100 yards and you will come to the entrance to the caravan park which is on your left and well signed “Tan y Bryn Caravan Park”.
